What You’ll Do 

 

Podcast Host Responsibilities

• Research and develop relevant episode topics (weekly)

• Host and record engaging podcast episodes

• Interview guests (adult industry professionals, creators, influencers, experts, and locals)

• Maintain an energetic, charismatic on-air presence

• Work on episode outlines, questions, and segment planning

• Promote episodes on social media and help drive audience growth

 

Writing / Guest Contributor Responsibilities

• Write commentary, reviews, interviews, and Indiana-focused features

• Turn interviews into publish-ready articles

• Help brainstorm headline ideas, series concepts, and recurring columns

• Cover timely Indiana/Indianapolis topics connected to sex/crime/culture

 

On-Camera / Model + Social Content

 

Responsibilities 

• Appear on camera for short-form clips (podcast promos, reactions, interviews, commentary)

• Record quick takes, intros/outros, and social media segments

• Help create content that feels authentic, bold, and shareable

• Pictures for website

 

Guest Writer

Responsibilities 

• Write articles for the website

 

Guest for Podcast or Website

Responsibilities 

• Be interviewed for The Circle City News Podcast

• Be interviewed for the Circle City News website

Requirements

• Must be 18+

• Strong speaking and communication skills (comfortable discussing sensitive/controversial topics)

• Solid interviewing instincts and ability to keep conversations flowing

• Interest in (or experience with) podcasting, broadcasting, streaming, or content creation

• Ability to research topics and come prepared with questions and angles

• Familiarity with Indiana/Indianapolis news and culture (strongly preferred)

• Basic experience using recording tools like Riverside, Zoom, or similar (editing is a plus)

 

Bonus Points If You Have

• A portfolio: podcast episodes, YouTube/TikTok clips, writing samples, blog posts, etc.

• Comfort building audience and engaging online

• Experience in journalism, entertainment reporting, or creator economy work

• Knowledge of the adult entertainment industry or sex-positive community

• True crime or legal system interest (Indiana court cases, policing, legislation, etc.)

 

Compensation

• Contract / part-time (paid per episode, per article, or monthly retainer depending on output and experience)

• Flexible schedule; remote work (no travel required)
